Product Description

SL-BR05 is a peroxide breaker for use in most guar or guar derivative based fracturing fluids, and polymer fracturing fluids.  It can quickly break the high-viscosity gel fracturing fluid and improve the return efficiency.

SL-BR05 is a peroxide breaker. It can react with the polymer in the fracturing fluid, destroy its molecular structure, and break the long polymer chain into small molecules, thereby reducing the viscosity of the fracturing fluid and achieving the purpose of breaking the gel.

SL-BR05 can be used in most polymer and guar gum fracturing fluid systems. It is compatible with most additives used in these systems, except reducing agents, acids, salts and other oxidants. Please confirm the compatibility of the system in the laboratory before use.

Recommended Treatment

SL-BR05 is recommended to be added at 0.01%-0.1%.

The concentration of SL-BR05 depends on the amount of polymer used and the application temperature.

SL-BR05 is in solid form, it is easier to measure, pump and disperse when used in aqueous solution.

When the temperature is below 125°F(52℃), an activator can be added to activate and release the free radicals of the breaker to achieve a better breaking effect.

Packing and Storage

SL-BR05 is supplied in plastic-lined bags with a net weight of 50 kg/bag or 100 kg/bag. Keep it away from extreme conditions such as places wet and humid or direct sunlight.
