Technical & Engineering Information

Mobility control is one of the most important concepts in any enhanced oil recovery process. Polymers are added to the water phase to increase its viscosity and reduce water permeability and thus decrease its mobility.

The main principle is to reduce the water-oil flow ratio, so as to cut down the water pointing phenomenon and adjust the rheology of water flow. Because of its high molecular weight, the hydrodynamic radius of polyacrylamide increases, which improves its adsorption capacity in oilfield production.

SL-EOR3024 can increase the penetration capacity of the oil repellent and thus enhance the recovery of the oil reservoir.
