SL-CST04 is composed of small cationic quaternary amine salts, which is the most effective control of clay expansion in water-based drilling mud and fracturing fluid.
SL-CST04 Clay Stabilizer C Sl-CST04
During the operation of acidizing and fracturing in the oilfield, the liquid entering the formation will cause the change of the water environment, so that the clay in the formation rock will expand, disperse and migrate, resulting in the formation of sand, blockage of the oil formation, and reduce the permeability.

Product Description
Technical & Engineering Information
SL-CST04 is composed of small cationic quaternary amine salt, which can effectively adsorb on the clay surface, enhance the strength of loose sandstone oil layer, prevent the damage caused by hydration expansion and dispersion migration of water-sensitive minerals, and eliminate and prevent the oil field from drilling, completion, workover, acidizing, fracturing and waterflood drilling and production processes. The contact between the oil layer and foreign water causes the hydration expansion and dispersion and migration of clay minerals.
SL-CST04 can form a single molecule adsorption film on the clay surface, which stabilizes the clay minerals for a long time and effectively protects the oil and gas layer.
SL-CST04 has good compatibility with most additives used in acidizing and fracturing systems. It is suitable for acidizing or waterflooding operations. Provides good clay anti-swelling, stabilizing effect.
