Product Description

SL-ACD-GEL is an effective gelling agent for gelled acid systems. It can rapidly thicken the acid with high viscosity in a very short time.

Technical & Engineering Information

SL-ACD-GEL is a polyacrylamide powder. It can be dispersed in acids continuously or batch mixed.it has good retarding performance, good rheological & thermal stability.

SL-ACD-GEL is compatible with most acid additives including surfactant, corrosion inhibitor, and iron control additives.

Formation damage caused by SL-ACD-GEL is generally minimal and fluid loss reducing property of SL-ACD-GEL is excellent.

When crosslinked gel is needed, a lab test is highly recommended. Using Organic Zirconium Crosslinker could obtain a high elastic-viscosity fracturing fluid.

Recommended Treatment

The loading level depends on the formation bottom hole temperature and the concentration of acid used. Typically, the higher temperature is, the higher is the loading level required to achieve required performance. 

SL-ACD-GEL 0.6% in 20% HCL, Apparent Viscosity(25℃) ≥ 30 cps

SL-ACD-GEL has good rheology and thermal stability, good retarding performance, and excellent performance and compatibility.

Packing and Storage

SL-ACD-GEL is supplied in plastic-lined bags with a net weight of 25 kg/bag. Keep it away from extreme conditions such as wet and humid places or direct sunlight.
